This is me. I take really awkward pictures for some reason

Allow me to introduce myself.  I'm Robert Chandler and welcome to the blog.  I live in southern Alabama in the United States.  If you're here then it's probably because you, like myself, are an avid Warhammer 40,000 fan and player.  I started this blog in 2021 after deciding to take a break from social media (well...mostly....I still have an Instagram) as sort of a way for me to track my hobby progress through the year, as well as just chat about my random thoughts about the game and the hobby we all love.

I've been pretty active in the tournament scene in the South region of the U.S. for many years.  I've attended many events all over the south and also have hosted many. I'm the tournament organizer for the Come the Apocalypse Grand Tournament held in Dothan, AL every year since 2017.  We did have to cancel our event in 2020 due to the COVID-19 virus, of course, but we are looking to come back stronger than ever in 2021.  Additionally, I am the South Region ITC Regional Representative.

My main armies are Blood Angels, Thousand Sons, and Craftworld Eldar although I've dabbled in other factions over the years including Space Marines, Chaos Daemons, Chaos Space Marines, Knights, Custodes and Astra Militarum.  

The past couple of years I have focused mostly on Blood Angels and plan to run them in the 2021 season at events.   I most recently won Best Overall at the Warzone: The Dark Times GT held in Atlanta, GA in November 2020.  

Sadly this was the only larger event I was able to attend in 2020, but hoping for more in 2021.

I officially play for the Dangli Boyz competitive 40k Team. We are a competitive team out of Alabama that travels all over the south wreaking havoc...well not really...unless there is a buffet nearby then perhaps.  We have attended the American Team Championships, Warzone: Atlanta, and other Grand Tournaments all across the region.
